Usage:
It is an important raw material in the production of formic acid and oxalate. It is also the raw material of the production of sodium hydrosulfite. It can be used as rawhide treatment, dye leveller, accelerator and delustering agent, etc.Used in leather industry, serves as camouflage salt in the chrome tanning method, used in catalyst and stabilizer compositions, and in the printing and dyeing of textiles as a reducing agent, used as the raw material in the manufactures of sodium hydro sulphite ,formic acid and oxalic acid, used as drilling fluid and completion fluid in oil field, used as road antifreeze and cement antifreeze.
